Who is Whitney?
Whitney is Better Kitty's FIRST additional groomer, ever! Rose has been a one woman show for nine years. We are thrilled to have Whitney join our team and expand our service area.

Rose invited Whitney to join Better Kitty after meeting her last year and being blown away by her feline knowledge and cat-handling skills.
Whitney has been working with cats since age 15 when she began volunteering with animal rescue organizations on TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) with her mom.
Whitney's experience includes:
- Completed apprenticeship with Rose
- Performed hundreds of cat grooms in vet clinics and a boutique feline-only grooming salon
- Licensed Veterinary Technician for 10 years, with 8 years in feline-only medicine
-Served on the Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project's Board of Directors for seven years
-All continuing education (required for yearly license renewal) focused on feline health, with a focus on behavior, nutrition, and geriatric care.
- Currently volunteers with Alley Cat Project on TNR
Whitney is a NW native living in South Seattle with her partner and their three cats: Fufu, Tooney, and Mae Mae (in pic with Whitney). Mae Mae is 18 years old and was adopted just four years ago!
In addition to "being fully cat-obsessed" Whitney is an avid gardener and landscaper. She also loves to travel, experience live music, and eat vegan food.
