WHY "IN-HOME" GROOMING?

Cats are highly territorial creatures.

They are happy and feel safest in their territory: your home! We put your cat's needs first by coming to you! At Better Kitty we believe that grooming your cat(s) in your home, with you present, offers the least stressful grooming experience.

GROOMING FOR HEALTH

Grooming your cat regularly will improve their quality of life and longevity. Long-haired or short-haired, all cats need to be groomed on a regular basis.

Better Kitty works with your cat in the grooming process instead of restraining your cat. Your cat's comfort and safety is of the utmost importance.

The goal of grooming is to enhance your kitty(s) health and to improve your relationship with your cat(s). We DO NOT groom cats to make them 'cute' or 'ready for the show-ring'. They are very beautiful creatures without our help!

GROOMING SERVICES

Basic Groom Package

$70 per cat

This comprehensive package is ideal for cats of any age to keep them healthy and clean without being excessively invasive. Please see our Senior Cat Package below for kitties over 12 years old.

Includes:

- Nail trim

- Undercoat strip out

- Primary hair removal

- Kitty sanitary cut/"Brazilian" (if needed)

- Abdomen shave (if needed)

- Light de-matting (if needed)

- Oral Health evaluation

- Eye cleaning

- Ear care

Lion Cut Package

$100 per cat

This package is ideal for cats who have major matting, pelting, for long-haired cats in summer months, or cats who struggle to keep themselves mat-free.

Lion Cut includes:

- A full body shave, lion-style hair cut (teddy bear cuts are NOT available)

- Your choice of tail style (full tail, pom-pom tail, or "Paint brush" tail)

- A rinse-off bath (soap bath as needed)

- Time in the 'kitty burrito'

PLUS:

- Nail trim

- Eye cleaning

- Ear care

- Oral Health evaluation

Senior Cat Package

$80 per cat

For cats older than 12 years old and/or disabled cats.

Because the grooming needs of each elderly cat are unique, our professional groomer will assess your goals for the grooming session, and determine which grooming services are possible given your cat's health and temperament.

At minimum includes:

- Nail trim

- Coat brush out to remove loose fur

- Ear care

- Coaching for you on caring for your elderly kitty

Based on which services are safe for your elderly cat, may also include:

- A mild bath or rinse

- De-matting and/or preventive matting procedures (as appropriate)

- Kitty sanitary cut/"Brazilian"

- Oral Health evaluation

Nail Trim Only

$25 for 1 or 2 cats

What it says on the label. Nail trim only. No comb out, no ear or eye care, no shaving.

$50 for 3-4 cats.

All Better Kitty grooming services last approximately one hour or less (per cat). We minimize stress by completely focusing on your cat and their individual needs.

To help reduce your cat(s) stress we require you or another adult who helps care for the cat(s) on a daily basis be present during grooming sessions. Exceptions can be made if you have young children at home or if you work from home.

For our staffers' safety we will never enter a client's home without an adult present.
